As one of the major suppliers of automotive aftermarket parts in the Eastbourne area, this organisation is already highly successful at what they do. To grow even further they are desperate for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who can work as a business development manager, think outside the box and push the branch on to even greater heights.
Working closely with the senior management team, your brief is simple: to grow and develop customer relationships within the end user garage and workshop market in the local area. How you go about doing that is up to you!
As a business development manager, you will look to cultivate relationships with the customer base, bringing them on side, sorting out historic issues and delivering them great products at a highly competitive price. You are not here to scratch a pad or do a coffee run, this is about quality of calls rather than the quantity.
This is a hands position that requires a proactive approach to rolling your sleeves up and helping in any areas.
The most important part of succeeding in this role is your ability and attitude. As an individual, you will be well organised, communicative and above all else, driven to make an impact.
In terms of experience, your personality is more important than knowledge but exposure to sales is required! How you have delivered those sales is open however, as this organisation are open to anyone coming from a similar business development background. You may have worked internally as a parts advisor or assistant branch manager or even car sales!
